 Founded in the Palmetto Bay, Florida community in 1982, our Montessori school began with a student body of ten and a staff of one assistant and Mrs. Eleanor Winhold. By 1985, the school had expanded to three classrooms at two locations, and in 1990, the three Children's Houses became centralized in one location at Old Cutler Road. Our increased enrollment guided our move to a brand new facility with five classrooms at our present location in the fall of 2002.
We are dedicated to the principles of a true Montessori education which means that our school's environment is prepared and adapted in order to link the child to it through well thought out lessons and to facilitate the child's exploration and creativity.
